Zack discovers that the latest victim, a Vicar General in the Catholic Church, had both kneecaps surgically removed as part of a series of cannibalistic murders. Meanwhile, Russ visits Brennan.

JACK HODGINS: Bio

Little is known about our dear Jack. He is an entomologist and also an expert on spores and minerals, but conspiracy is his hobby. He can estimate the time of death from the development of insect larvae.

What we discover part of the way through Season One is that he is part of the Cantilliver Group, a huge corporation that grosses more GNP that Europe (according to Zach). In fact, he donates more money to the Jeffersonian than anyone else, which effectively makes Jack thier boss. However, that is not what he wants in life. He wants to seive through slime and bugs in his little corner and not have to deal with who is family is and thier connections. Only Booth, Angela and Zach were aware of who he was and he insisted that Brennan or Goodman were not to be told.

It was until Season Two and Jack was buried alive that the whole team, now including Cam, find out who Jack really is. Jack's own policy of not paying a randsom without a proof of life, almost saw the death of him. But while he was stuck int he car, he finally told Brennan who he really was. Now out in the open to his friends, he can relax.

What we also learn in Season One, is that Jack rents a room to Zach. Actually his 'apartment' is above the garage and includes a "bedroom, living room, kitchen, another bedroom, a den, two bathrooms." Its quite a garage, but having to house all 12 of Jack's car (including antique ones) and a boat. He has a huge house, which we have never seen.

He also has three degrees, which means that he is a very clever man and that people will listen to him.

Jack is also know for his many girlfriends, one every two weeks according to Angela, but it is Angela that he is crazy about. Being buried alive, Jack admitted to Brennan his feelings for Angela and how he was "crazy in love with her". We hope that this will be the start of something very good indeed!
